GJ Trans Training delivers nationally recognised Certified Pilot Vehicle Driver (CPVD) training in Victoria for people wanting to work as OSOM pilot vehicle drivers in the heavy-haulage industry. Courses are run at our Melbourne training site in Endeavour Hills, in small classes of up to 8 trainees.
What the CPVD course covers
The course delivers the five nationally recognised units you need to apply for your Victorian pilot vehicle driver licence: TLIF3010, TLIF3009, TLIF3013, TLIF2004 and TLIF3060. The same training also supports licences in Tasmania and the Northern Territory.

Anyone wanting to become a certified pilot vehicle driver in Victoria — including current truck drivers looking to move into oversize and overmass load piloting.
Course format
Two days of in-person, practical training (there is no online option). You receive a training manual and a Statement of Attainment on completion.
